The Fushimi area in Nagoya is conveniently located between Nagoya Station and the main shopping/nightlife area of Sakae, but its close enough to Sakae to basically be a part of the Sakae area. The long established Nagoya Hilton Hotel has served as a hub for restaurants and cafes which surround the Hilton, but there are several other hotels serving Fushimi including Nagoya Richmond Hotel and Nagoya Kanko Hotel. It is only a 5 minute walk from Fushimi to Sakae, so its not necessary to take a taxi or use the subway system if you are going to Sakae. From Fushimi to Nagoya Station is a bit longer a walk - about 15 minutes or so.
